Saronida Belonging House
In Saronida, Attica, Greece, Block722 designs a residence where the clarity of geometry and calm materiality express the essence of contemporary Mediterranean living. Rooted in place and shaped through a strong dialogue with landscape, the composition unfolds linearly, separating private and social functions while responding naturally to the site’s light, openness, and coastal microclimate. Open, permeable spaces and natural materials enhance the fluid relationship between indoors and outdoors, reinforcing a sense of outdoor living and spatial continuity.
Guided by Scandinavian simplicity and Mediterranean warmth, the house integrates harmoniously with its surroundings, creating a calm spatial experience defined by balance, quiet minimalism, and sensory clarity. Stone, plaster, chestnut wood, terrazzo, and marble form a restrained palette of tactile materials that strengthen the project’s connection to landscape, while shaping an architecture that feels timeless, grounded, and deeply connected to everyday rituals.
