Lumen Residence
is a refined penthouse sanctuary envisioned by Block722 in the residential neighbourhood of Papagou, Athens. Conceived as both a living laboratory and a warm family home, the project embodies the studio’s philosophy of organic luxury — where natural materials, and spatial harmony define everyday life. Set atop a contemporary interpretation of the Greek polykatoikia, the residence unfolds across two light-filled levels, seamlessly connecting interior and exterior spaces. Marble, travertine, and warm wood surfaces create a tactile calmness, while bespoke furnishings and handcrafted elements ensure a deeply personal character. Designed with wellness and environmental sensitivity at its core, Lumen Residence balances precision with softness, structure with serenity. The result is an elevated urban retreat that demonstrates how thoughtful architecture can transform a penthouse into an intimate, luminous haven above the city.
