Frame Residence
is the contemporary transformation of an existing home by Block722, situated in one of Northern Greece's most privileged locations. Designed as a serene family retreat, the project redefines the relationship between architecture, landscape, and light.
Organised across three levels—basement, ground floor, and upper floor, the residence has been carefully reconfigured to enhance openness, functionality, and the connection to its surroundings. Generous openings invite natural light deep into the interior while framing uninterrupted views of the sea. Interior and exterior unfold seamlessly, extending everyday living into the garden and reinforcing a continuous dialogue with the landscape.
The outdoor spaces are an integral part of the architectural composition. The garden and swimming pool create a tranquil setting that enhances privacy while strengthening the home's connection to its natural environment.
A natural palette of materials defines the architectural expression. Soft-toned plaster surfaces are paired with carefully selected natural travertine, introducing warmth, texture, and a timeless quality. Clean lines and balanced proportions are complemented by the tactile character of the materials, creating spaces that feel both refined and inviting.
Rooted in simplicity and crafted with enduring sensibility, the residence offers a calm, light-filled living environment that fully embraces its exceptional setting above the city and the sea.
