Casa Cook Samos Spa and Wellness
Integrated within the resort’s masterplan, Casa Cook Samos Spa and Wellness extends the architectural language of Casa Cook Samos through a sequence of spaces dedicated to restoration and wellbeing. Drawing from the spatial structure of traditional Samian settlements, the wellness area unfolds through shaded courtyards, water features and carefully framed thresholds, establishing a seamless relationship between architecture and landscape.
In contrast to the resort’s light-toned material palette, the spa is articulated through deeper mineral hues, tactile plaster finishes, dark timber and carefully calibrated lighting. The shift in materiality introduces a more intimate spatial character, where enclosure, texture and shadow shape an atmosphere of quiet retreat.
Treatment rooms, a hammam, gym and outdoor wellness spaces are embedded within the wider composition, reinforcing the continuity between built form and nature. Conceived as an integral part of the resort, the spa reflects Block722’s approach to hospitality through contextual sensitivity, material authenticity and a restrained architectural expression.
